Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 8, 2020 Administrators Share Posted October 8, 2020 Thank you for the suggestion, we are actually in the process of improving our device classification system so hopefully you'll see this improvement in future versions. What is the specific device you see that with? If you provide us the correct name of the device and the MAC address we can correct it for the future. Nintendo Switch and Sony Android based TV's to be more specific, and I think maybe the Google Home Mini
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 11, 2020 Administrators Share Posted October 11, 2020 Great thanks, if you provide the MAC addresses in PMs we can work on classifying them better. Cameron
Administrators Netduma Alex Posted October 12, 2020 Administrators Share Posted October 12, 2020 I can confirm that our Nintendo Switch detection is a lot better in the latest internal build. As Fraser said, we are currently in the process of vastly improving our device detection. You should start to see a difference soon. mannrs and Cameron
LordPaul
Just on this, is it possible to have more classifications of devices in the Device Manager - for example, we have two smart air conditioners that are on our network and at the moment I lump in the "other" Device Type

If you could provide the first half of the MAC addresses for those devices and their names then that will help us to classify them.
