Ideally id still stay away from any with the puma chipset.. Arris, Motorola, Netgear make some good ones. Arris SB8200, Motorola MB8600, Netgear CM1000 I believe are all decent imo.. I currently have the Arris SB8200.. Its a stand alone modem only.. Not a combo router modem in one and is the DOCSIS 3.1.. Also check with your provider to see what they allow.
