Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 14, 2020 Administrators Share Posted August 14, 2020 The next update will improve on WiFi performance. If you reboot the router do the speeds return? For ping under load use QoS to limit that as much as possible.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 14, 2020 Administrators Share Posted August 14, 2020 Hard to say, could be wireless contention. What speeds do you get through ethernet at the moment?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 14, 2020 Administrators Share Posted August 14, 2020 Have you changed any settings at all prior to these speed drops?

CRarsenxL
I too have not touched any settings but randomly in cod I’ll check ping plotter my ping is like much higher than usual , my WiFi stops loading/slow and my in game ping is higher for a few seconds

Regarding WiFi do you mean you can't load websites slow or speedtest reports slow speeds?
CRarsenxL
Significantly. My base is usually 17-20. After a few minutes past, it was at 50-60. In game, I was getting spikes, so base ping would be 40 on a east coast goat aka my friend. But randomly it will lag and I’ll look at the in game ping and it’ll be
CRarsenxL
My xr300 with same settings never did that
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 22, 2020 Administrators Share Posted August 22, 2020 Are you playing via WiFi then? What QoS settings are you using? What are your Ping Under Load results?
CRarsenxL
Wired. No CC. No Bandwidth allocation. Just traffic prio. Ping under load is around 13.8 but ping plotter has spikes very high at random times. Never saw that before with the XR300
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 23, 2020 Administrators Share Posted August 23, 2020 You need to use Congestion Control to eliminate lag more effectively, start with 70% each and adjust if needed to eliminate the lag.
