SmallCaps Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 Greetings all, Is it possible to change server/country via R2s HybridVPN? I use NordVPN (Advanced Setting).
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 12, 2020 Administrators Posted August 12, 2020 If you use the Advanced setup then you will need to use the configuration file of the country/server you want to use instead and then input that into the feature. Then it will appear as though you are in another country.
Flipmode Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 each time you want to change country profile you must upload a new .ovpn file to replace the one that's currently loaded.
Krush Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 https://support.nordvpn.com/Connectivity/Router/1047410932/Netduma-setup-with-NordVPN.htm This link has not been updated for R2. But he can help you at first. Your best bet is to use the PC app to find the best server number for you!
PharmDawgg Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 Make sure you enter you vpn's provider dns servers and disable Ipv6. If you don't i can guarantee you will get what we call a DNS leak. A DNS leak refers to a security flaw that allows DNS requests to be revealed to ISP DNS servers, despite the use of a VPN service to attempt to conceal them.
SmallCaps Posted August 12, 2020 Author Posted August 12, 2020 Thank you very much, guys! Of course! This will definitely help. I see the light now... 😀 Fuzy, when you wrote ”Your best bet is to use the PC app to find the best server number for you!” Which app do you mean? Again, thanks for the swift support ❤️
