Hi,

Is it possible to install this on RX500?

I can install directly on the devices but wondered if can add to the router. There only appears to be a couple of options under Hybrid VPN.

Also is there much benefit in having it on the PS4?

I used it on R1 DumaOS with no problems so should be fine on the XR500.

Yeah it looked like there was only two options available?

hidemyass and purevpn.

I'm sure these are okay but I want to use one which has more servers.

You can use it, all you need to do is obtain the OpenVPN configuration file from Nord and then you can add it to the Advanced section when trying to make the VPN connection.

I've managed to get the list from Nord.

Would you go UDP or TCP? do I need to alter anything other than upload the config file?

Is this likely to improve my game time on the PS4? Just wondering if its worth doing or just use on the individual devices instead.

It really doesn't matter regarding the protocol as you'll still get TCP/UDP packets but if I were to recommend one then UDP. It should just be the case of copying the file in (sometimes you have to combine a few files into one) and entering you Nord user/password. It's unlikely to improve your game experience as you're adding hops and latency in most cases but some people swear by it.

I've tried gaming over a VPN a few times... its never a good idea

If your ping is poo, then it 'might' help... but since you're in the UK I see, you'll already have a good ping so can't see it doing anything but causing you problems when gaming.
