Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 14, 2020 Administrators Share Posted April 14, 2020 If you connect any devices to the ISP hub then it will not be able to be controlled by the R1 so if you want to keep the R1 controlling everything then I'd suggest getting a cheap AP that provides AC WiFi to connect your wireless devices behind the R1. Administrators Netduma Alex Posted April 15, 2020 Administrators Share Posted April 15, 2020 Did Spectrum provide you with a seperate router and modem, or is it combined into a single unit? If the modem is seperate, then you could set up your network as follows: Modem > R1 > Spectrum Router Then hopefully you could switch the Spectrum router into Access Point mode. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 15, 2020 Administrators Share Posted April 15, 2020 Look on the underside of the Spectrum router to find the model name and then look up that model to find the manual on Google and it'll have the information there. Each router is different so it's best to find out there where it is located.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 15, 2020 Administrators Share Posted April 15, 2020 Find the manual for that model and go to the section that describes how to set AP mode. What is the model?
