Rodney Rosado3
I was wondering if i have a Xr700 and Sx10 gaming switch does their Qos overlap
UK_Wildcats_Fans
I have the same combination. The sx10 will only prioritize the hardwired devices plugged into the sx10. In my situation, I cannot practically wire my ps4 directly to the xr700, so I have to use a switch. I have a lot of hard wired devices. I bought the sx10 because I want it to prioritize the gaming port ahead of all other devices (many used for streaming video) on the switch. If you can plug your gaming console/pc directly into the xr700, you don't need a sx10. You could use a good quality switch for your other devices. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 21, 2020 Administrators Share Posted March 21, 2020 If you had your console plugged into the switch which is connected to the XR then essentially yes you would be doubling up on QoS for that device. It's better in what sense? Have you used it without the XR?
