N3CR0
Everyones connection is different. You need to experiment with these two settings and see what works better for you

CoD gives everyone issues man! Lol! What issues exactly are you trying to solve?
Sgt-Greco
A honest answer is that you cannot manipulate your connection gameplaywise in COD (if this is the game you are interested in).
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 22, 2020 Administrators Share Posted February 22, 2020 Personally I'd suggest going with UPnP, the console isn't the only device you're using online and by using port forwarding rules you may cause port issues for those devices. Also it can be difficult to get port forwarding rules exactly right whereas UPnP does it all automatically. If your NAT is open I wouldn't change anything regarding ports - it won't help your actual connection.

What issues exactly are you trying to solve? inconsistent gun fights (only COD) ive even had a player kill me from past mid range with an SMG even tho I was putting shots to him with an AR. Ive been getting killed in 2 shots with an m4 even tho I use the same guns, you know regular COD stuff.

Honestly, the CoD games are freaking awful for this kinda stuff. Its the game thats the problem, you can try stuff to make things better but nothing will make it consistent 100% of the time. For me, its the sliders that work... upnp, port forwarding, on or off makes 0 difference... but thats just me.

I have 500 up and down and with all the equipment combines a total of maybe 40mbps of download being used and barely 20mbps upload being used, so the sliders wont necessary for me. I mean every other games play fine except fifa maden which feel sluggish (known) and COD (also known) I just wante to see if using PF is better since I used DMZ and it felt a bit smoother and cleaner gameplay wise. I am just trying to eliminate as much problems as possible for a better outcome
