Stability of the Netduma R1 or my network

Recommended Posts

I have a tech coming out tomorrow to inspect my line also. Have had too many error messages in my modems log and after talking to them over Twitter they said I had packet loss.

Hi guy's .

So little feedback of my interaction with my isp provider .

They see the trouble to , its so minim it don't really affect the line .

Of courses , without input on line gaming in there analyses .

The told me they can't help it or fix it .

The given me a new box , and say maybe it will help , but it don't helps !

Pingplotter give the same results as yesterday .

So .... , i suppose there is nothing to do , only change my isp provider but no guarantee it will get better .

I really want thank all of you fore the help , advise and time you put in this .

Even if we can't fix it , i learned much about network and connection issues .

I will die a little smarter ;)

Big up fore the Netduma community !!!!!

Case close :/

I thought they may say something like that under normal situations a 30ms jitter is not a big thing but for gaming it is.

Good luck if you decide to change provider , BT fibre TalkTalk are both good for gaming i can say that because a freind is with BT and I am with TalkTalk but I am sure somewhere in the UK people will be seeing congestion or ping problems with these providers.

It can depend on area and how many are using the cabinets/exchange.

So the Tech came out and shortened my cable line to the modem. Removed 2 splitters and just replaced it with a 3 way splitter. Removed old coaxial male heads. Now I get speeds 89 down and 22 up. Advertised speeds 150 down 25 up.

But I was still seeing lag in P2P and using PA after set at 30.

I will try a diff game. I ran my Netduma Diagnosis and did get Exceptional and No packet loss. But later that night I checked again and got 4% packet loss. From Testmy net my speed results went to 39 down and 9 up from 89 down and 22 up.

So they are coming back next week.
