jigsawafc Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Tried to edit some settings on the router, logged into router but the following message pops up on the screen... RPC error 'ERROR_UNKNOWN': invalid key to 'next' -> stack traceback: ?: in function <?:73> [C]: in function 'reply' ?: in function <?:324> [C]: in function 'xpcall' ?: in function 'try' ?: in function <?:290> [C]: in function 'run' ?: in function <?:345> [C]: in function 'xpcall' ?: in function 'try' ?: in function <?:261> (tail call): ? /dumaos/api/cli.lua:48: in function </dumaos/api/cli.lua:30> [C]: in function 'xpcall' /dumaos/api/cli.lua:59: in main chunk [C]: ? When I click on 'OK' a white circle just loads but the OS doesn't come up. I refreshed the page, same message happens. Turned off the router for 30mins, same message happens. Factory reset the router twice, same message happens. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 25, 2019 Administrators Posted August 25, 2019 What settings were you changing exactly? How did you perform the reset - did you hold the button down for 30 seconds then wait a few minutes? If not you will need to do that first.
jigsawafc Posted August 25, 2019 Author Posted August 25, 2019 We just bought a new PS4 and went onto the router to just change the congestion and delete the old PS4 and add the new one. First I held the reset button down until all the green lights came up and went off then released it. Didn't work... then I did the same thing for around 30 seconds but the same error comes up.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 25, 2019 Administrators Posted August 25, 2019 That's very odd. Could you try accessing it via an incognito window/private browser window please?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 25, 2019 Administrators Posted August 25, 2019 Okay I think I'll have to refer this one to the team and see if that can take a look.
jigsawafc Posted August 25, 2019 Author Posted August 25, 2019 No problem, here are the messages again. Thanks
Administrators Netduma Alex Posted August 27, 2019 Administrators Posted August 27, 2019 How long have you had the router for?
Administrators Netduma Alex Posted August 27, 2019 Administrators Posted August 27, 2019 Have you tried accessing it from any different devices?
jigsawafc Posted August 28, 2019 Author Posted August 28, 2019 Yeah, unfortunately I have the same issue.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 28, 2019 Administrators Posted August 28, 2019 Could you try unplugging the router from power for 24 hours please, it can sometimes help with issues like this. Once 24 hours is up check it and if it's still a problem do a factory reset again please. Also how is the router plugged into power, via an extender etc? If so after the 24 hrs plug it directly into a wall outlet.
jigsawafc Posted August 28, 2019 Author Posted August 28, 2019 Sure thing. I’m away until Saturday now so i’ll do this step then. The router is plugged into the wall outlet. Speak then.
jigsawafc Posted September 1, 2019 Author Posted September 1, 2019 Hi folks, I got a family member to turn off and unplug the router Friday morning as they were checking on my dogs. I turned it back on this afternoon and commenced a factory reset... unfortunately no joy with this.

jigsawafc Posted December 28, 2019 Author Posted December 28, 2019 Hello. My sincere apologies for the very late response regarding this topic. Would I still be able to get my router swapped for a new one, as the router's OS fails to open, as you can see from the previous posts. Kind regards, Jigsawafc

jigsawafc Posted December 28, 2019 Author Posted December 28, 2019 Hi Fraser, As far as I was aware at the time, someone was meant to come and collect the router and then I was to receive a new one but that is all I remember i'm afraid. Apologies. Alex
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 28, 2019 Administrators Posted December 28, 2019 Could you PM me the email address you used so I can check what has happened for you?
