HaBlo0
Hi guys ! I updated my xr500 sunday and since, when i increase and decrease upload and download, it only works on my download, my upload doesn't change.. i have Optic fiber, 900d 300u so if i put 50/50, i should get 450-150 and the upload stay at 300. I ticked always, "disable qos" is unticked, and i disabled IPv6. I plugged the xr500 directly into my fiber box (ONT box) to not have to go through my modem anymore. If did a restart, and even a factory reset but nothing change.. if someone has a solution 👍🏻😁 (sorry for my english). Thks guys !
Administrators Netduma Alex Posted August 20, 2019 Administrators Share Posted August 20, 2019 Do you use VLAN Tagging?
HaBlo0
Sorry, I dont know what is this ?
Administrators Netduma Alex Posted August 20, 2019 Administrators Share Posted August 20, 2019 Well it might be something your network is using without you knowing it. I only ask because I think there is a known bug regarding Anti-Bufferbloat upload not working with VLAN tagging. But if it was working in the previous version, it might be worth temporarily returning to that version.
Guest Killhippie
There are security updates in this version, so if it worked with the modem before I would say use that again if that's the only change made in hardware configuration rather than downgrading. Fuzy
HaBlo0
Ok, no I hadn't touched anything, the qos worked well before the update. What bothers me is that if I go back, I'll have to put the orange box back ..
Tu as ça aussi ?
