shiznewski
It doesn't matter what settings i select or how much bandwidth i give each device dsl reports always gives me a C and i get bufferbloat of 200ms. Any idea what is going on? xr500 newest firmware as of 6/18/19. I have tried giving the PC doing the connection 100% of the bandwidth, and a bunch of other configs. BIG__DOG
dsl reports is not the most reliable of services. Install and run pingplotter to get a real time graph of your connection and see if there are ping spikes or jitter on your line. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 19, 2019 Administrators Share Posted June 19, 2019 Hey, welcome to the forum! Would reiterate the above. Bufferbloat only occurs when the network is saturated and that test won't do it. I would suggest you follow this guide to help you with PingPlotter: http://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000074717-diagnose-modem-internet-service-provider-issues saturate the connection (i.e. download heavily, stream etc, max out your connection) and use PingPlotter and try different Anti-Bufferbloat percentages to see what keeps the ping/spikes to a minimum.
