The UPnP functionality on these Nighthawks is incredible, it should detect and open any port you need. Was there a reason you wanted to use one of these instead? If it was a choice between just those two, I'd say Port Forwarding is your best bet.
Toxic Smoggie Posted June 10, 2019 Author Posted June 10, 2019 That's the problem though, when I'm either on the Xbox or PS4, nothing is showing in UPnP, so not sure if it's enabled or not.
Administrators Netduma Alex Posted June 11, 2019 Administrators Posted June 11, 2019 I'd recommend setting reserved IP addresses for your consoles first under Settings > Setup > LAN Setup. Then port forwarding is where i'd start. It's fairly easy to set up under Settings > Advanced Settings > Port Forwarding.
