zombitroid
Im not really sure how the congestion control flower works. What does it do? The Wiki article helped, but I still dont know what my flower should look like. So this thing basically prioritizes upload bandwidth? I originally thought it made my playstation's packets get sent before others, but from what I understand on the Wiki article, it just prioritzes upload bandwidth. Do you guys just make everything have the same percentage, or do you prioritze your console? I have more than one gaming console in my house. I fear that if I prioritize my gaming consoles too much, then my pcs will get super slow. this is what my flower looks like now. The 22 is my ps4. Should I make them all the same e.g like 7 or 8? Thank you! http://forum.netduma.com/uploads/images/1436168986-U2282.png
Zennon
The way the router is developed it prioritise's game traffic anyway so i have all mine distributed the same, maybe if you have a very low upload speed of say 388k then using this feature would help there in my eyes. bagsta69
I give my console 30% and share the rest out evenly with share excess ticked
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 6, 2015 Administrators Share Posted July 6, 2015 To build on what the others have said, if you do have share excess ticked your PC's won't be super slow, they'll get what they need if they need it
