bbursley
Hey all, been using the new Duma OS since finally getting cable internet and moving where i have decent internet (finally). Is there any way to manually add a device? most routers have the ability to manually add a device to the router since I cant find the remote for a Smart TV. I figure if i can get the device mac an IP assigned i can find it on the network and maybe that will help? its a Roku tv if that can clarify anything. Do you think that can be an added feature in the future? I feel as though that is a standard option for most routers.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 5, 2019 Administrators Share Posted February 5, 2019 It's possible we'll add the functionality in the future if we feel there is a good demand for it. I imagine most people wouldn't need this as they're able to connect the device directly. Why does the remote need WiFi? Wouldn't it be the TV that needs to connect to the router?
