jimbobigbaggins Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Not changed any settings but ping on UK dedi has got really bad. On test my ping is 12ms set on filter at 26ms but put on UK dedis that are 80+ why is it putting me on that borrocks??
Alex49H Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 It has done the same to me lately too. 9 to 11 ms ping and I set it to 30 in PA and get thrown into games with hosts who have 60 or 80 ms. I usually just block them that way I won't be placed in a lobby again with them.

Zennon Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 The ping assist is for outside your filter , there could be any range of pings to a host inside your filter.

Now working on zennons theory and set geo really small and only using PA see what that gets me I do the opposite to what you are suggesting, i set my ping assist to 0 (turning it off) and move my geo to miss the server i do not want. That was back when i bothered playing AW
