BIG__DOG Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 The settings are your choice. If you want to connect only to a server under 30ms then set ping assist to 30 and have you geo location set somewhere not over land and at it's minimum size. This will then only find game servers that are defined by your ping assist setting.

shane_bell Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 I don't see Ping assist in my options. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!!
Administrators Netduma Admin Posted November 24, 2018 Administrators Posted November 24, 2018 The Netduma R1 currently has Ping Assist. If you're on the R1, make sure you've upgraded to the latest firmware (recently sent in emails) If you're on the XR500 / XR700 please be patient - NETGEAR are testing the next firmware release which they hope to have out as soon as possible
Kev Posted November 25, 2018 Author Posted November 25, 2018 any idea what i should set my anti bufferbloat sliders to i've tried 70/70 and doesn't seen to work for this what network generally looks like
Administrators Netduma Admin Posted November 25, 2018 Administrators Posted November 25, 2018 70/70 is usually a very good starting point and you can then go up or down from there depending on your connection. What are your bandwidth speeds? And what do you mean exactly by it not seeming to work?
Administrators Netduma Admin Posted November 26, 2018 Administrators Posted November 26, 2018 70/70 should be great - you could even go 90/70 if you want to get more from your download. That should give you very solid QoS, so if you're still not getting good pings then the problem is probably somewhere else. Let us know.
