If so, do you have any issues with ports showing up on the XR500 upnp page? If you have no issues can you please share your settings ? Thanks! An older version had issues showing UPNP ports that are open. I have had the problem since i bought the router on release. You have tried enabling modem mode on your modem right? When i got the hg612 it was locked, meaning you dont have access to any interface. So i bought an unlocked one ( in case i bricked the locked one when trying to unlock it 😉 ) , there isn't a modem mode selection AS SUCH, but this is why im trying to get other people's settings as i have tried disabling upnp and qos on the modem but nothing seems to make any difference, starting to think i have a faulty XR500 tbh. Have you contacted Netgear’s official support? https://www.netgear.com/support/contact.aspx I contacted them back in March about the issue but they tried telling me that's how it is supposed to be, since then i have done a 1 on 1 with Fraser and nothing has worked, for a long time i just plugged the R1 back in and gave up but having paid 250 for it i thought id try to get it to work as it should Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
