biggah Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 I can't connect to the netduma wired from my laptop or wireless from my phone or laptop. I put in the password on the netduma and it says its incorrect I tried resetting it and everything and it won't connect my xbox apparently is connected but when I try and go to the interface on my xbox its telling me the connection has timed out...idk how this is that hard to setup and work when we pay 200$+ for it this is ridiculous.
BIG__DOG Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 the default username and passwords are username: netdumar1 password: netdumar1 They are case sensative. Make sure that the ethernet cable connects to lan1 poe on the rear of the R1 into lan 1 of your isp modem/router. If you need any further help please let us know! pollutionblues Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 I have verizon fios everything connects to the duma but I can't access the interface..everytime i type in "192.168.88.1" it doesnt take me to the interface and says connection has timed out...idk what to do Is your setup: modem/router combo > Netduma > all devices? Is the Netduma in your modem/router combos DMZ? Are you trying to access 192.168.88.1 from a PC that is connected to the Netduma using Google Chrome or Firefox? If you still can’t access the UI, open a command prompt, type in: ipconfig then press enter, what does it say next to default gateway?
biggah Posted June 24, 2018 Author Posted June 24, 2018 What is DMZ and yes im using a pc connected to the netduma both wirelessly and wired...ive tried 192.168.88.1 and http://r1and nothing works...how do I open a command prompt?
pollutionblues Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Next to default gateway it says 192.168.1.1 If you type 192.168.1.1 into your browser does the Netduma UI open?
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted June 25, 2018 Netduma Staff Posted June 25, 2018 Next to default gateway it says 192.168.1.1 Please let us know if typing this into the URL brings you to the R1 interface!
biggah Posted June 25, 2018 Author Posted June 25, 2018 No it does not bring me to the R1 interface it takes me to fios by verizon.
pollutionblues Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 No it does not bring me to the R1 interface it takes me to fios by verizon. If it takes you to your fios page then you aren’t connected to the Netduma correctly. Make sure your modem/router is connected to port 1 of the Netduma then connect your PC to the Netduma using an Ethernet cable then try and access 192.168.88.1
biggah Posted June 26, 2018 Author Posted June 26, 2018 Still nothing is happening its saying "your connection was interrupted" when I type in 192.168.88.1

biggah Posted June 27, 2018 Author Posted June 27, 2018 Thanks a lot guys also this works for all games right? Mainly halo MCC for xbox one?? I just saw Halo 5 on the games list but I am assuming it worked for all games tho.

It's to be used in Matchmaking games - it's less useful on games where you can select your own server (since in that instance you can just choose the best one yourself) but for matchmaking games like CoD, Halo, Destiny (PVP) etc it works great
