Can't connect to the netduma

Recommended Posts

I can't connect to the netduma wired from my laptop or wireless from my phone or laptop. I put in the password on the netduma and it says its incorrect I tried resetting it and everything and it won't connect my xbox apparently is connected but when I try and go to the interface on my xbox its telling me the connection has timed out...idk how this is that hard to setup and work when we pay 200$+ for it this is ridiculous.

the default username and passwords are

username:  netdumar1

password:   netdumar1

They are case sensative. Make sure that the ethernet cable connects to lan1 poe on the rear of the R1 into lan 1 of your isp modem/router. If you need any further help please let us know! If you do need further help then tell us the name of your isp, the isp provided hardware and your network configuration. The more info you give the easier it is to fix your issue!

Is your setup: modem/router combo > Netduma > all devices?

Is the Netduma in your modem/router combos DMZ?

Are you trying to access 192.168.88.1 from a PC that is connected to the Netduma using Google Chrome or Firefox?

If you still can’t access the UI, open a command prompt, type in: ipconfig then press enter, what does it say next to default gateway?

No it does not bring me to the R1 interface it takes me to fios by verizon.

If it takes you to your fios page then you aren’t connected to the Netduma correctly. Make sure your modem/router is connected to port 1 of the Netduma then connect your PC to the Netduma using an Ethernet cable then try and access 192.168.88.1

OK so I'm on the interface but now its showing that im on the westcoast when i live on the east coast.

You mean on the geofilter page? If you click the house icon you can move your location to where you actually live.

Thanks a lot guys also this works for all games right? Mainly halo MCC for xbox one?? I just saw Halo 5 on the games list but I am assuming it worked for all games tho.

The Geo-Filter should help greatly with all Halo games. It's to be used in Matchmaking games - it's less useful on games where you can select your own server (since in that instance you can just choose the best one yourself) but for matchmaking games like CoD, Halo, Destiny (PVP) etc it works great :D
