Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted June 18, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted June 18, 2015 Hi Voltron027, welcome to the forums If you've reset the Netduma your new Wifi password will be 'netdumar1'. Does that allow you access to the Netduma wifi?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 18, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 18, 2015 I got that, by the way I'm not new here i just forgot my password and had to create a new account. I can access the router. Okay so you can connect to Wifi and access the router control panel but you have no internet access?
Voltron027
I can access the control panel for like 2min. Then it drops off, and no Internet access after it drops off. Can you remote access the router and take a look.

Please connect to the R1 via an ethernet cable to your computer, and see if you can get sustained internet access.

Voltron027
I have disabled it. I tried both disabling it and enabling it, with luck.
Zennon
If turning the workaround off as not worked, have you turned off wifi on you other router? as this will cause issues if it is still on. How did you reset the router? The button in miscellaneous settings?
Voltron027
No the button on the back of the R1.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 18, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 18, 2015 No the button on the back of the R1. Please do not do that. If you need to restart or reboot the router, please go to settings > miscellaneous and press the desired button. Try doing a reset using the button and see if this resolves your issue. Voltron027
Ok I'll do that. Did a break the R1?
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted June 18, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted June 18, 2015 Ok I'll do that. Did a break the R1? No, if you can access the dashboard it should be fine, but if you press the button for too long I think it can which is why it is recommended doing it from the GUI as it is safer
