Tendoshii Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Just got a new modem (ARRIS SURFboard SB8200) but now my Netduma R1 router won’t let me use the internet. My Xbox, connected to the modem directly, works just fine. I followed the technical support directions but that didn’t fix the issue. The instructions told me to post here for help. Thank you!
Tendoshii Posted May 23, 2018 Author Posted May 23, 2018 I have no WAN IP. I’ve restarted he modem and router to no effect. Connecting to the router via LAN is not effective either. I’ve tried another router and it didn’t work either. Same issue.
BIG__DOG Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 is your surfboard getting a connection? If yes, then connect the R1 and do a factory reset. It should then have internet connection. How are you getting internet at the moment?

If you receive WiFi or wired connection through your Modem, please connect your Netduma port 1 to port 1. If you do this, do you see the Netduma wireless network? If you connect to the Netduma wired do you receive Internet access?
