Only my location showing up in geo filter

Recommended Posts

Ok. The solution should be quite simple.
Click Host Filtering -> Under Select Games/Services', click 'Select Games' and choose your Xbox One. Click 'Next'. Click 'Xbox live PA'. Click 'Done'. Make sure 'Show Hosts' is ticked and the word below it should show 'Disable'

Under Geo-filter -> Peer Ping   Auto Ping Host ☑  Kilometres   Strict Mode   Show Dormant Hosts   Show Legend ☑. -> Click the HOUSE icon and select your area.

Hope that works.

Still no one populating in my filter

You did all the settings that I said in my first post?

Are you sure it is your Xbox One selected and not your PC?

Can you screenshot and post the Host filtering page so I can see the 'Select Games/Services' screen to see if you did it correctly?

How To Screen Shot: Click the window you want to capture. Press Alt+Print Screen by holding down the Alt key and then pressing the Print Screen key. The Print Screen key is near the upper-right corner of your keyboard.

Oh yeah it is better for you to go Modem>Netduma>Nighthawk. The way you have it setup now you are not utilizing all of the capabilities of the Netduma specifically congestion control capabilities.

I posted in the other thead you made about this to make sure that you are using Chrome as your browser and not internet explorer. The Netduma is not fully compatible with internet explorer. Finally, please only make one thread per issue - otherwise it becomes very confusing when trying to help.

I will try chrome. I don't know why my Internet isn't working anymore. I put my nighthawk is AP and since then I can't connect at all.

Let us know how Chrome works out for you, it should be the solution. Otherwise I'd say setup it up the recommended way of Modem > Netduma > Nighthawk as Buck suggested and see if that resolves things.

Any ideas why putting my Nighthawk in AP stopped my from being able to connect to the internet?

No not sure about that but lets see what happens after trying the below.

Ok..I downloaded chrome. I can connect to the internet via modem - nighthawk but not modem-netduma - nighthawk

Okay can you try doing modem - netduma and seeing if you get internet by directly connecting to the R1 with an ethernet cable to your PC without the nighthawk plugged in please.

The DMZ is not needed. Have you put the nighthawk in AP now? The nameless device is a device on your network we couldn't auto detect. Look at the device manager and see which ones you do have so you can see what the nameless one could be. You could utilise the network monitor and just select the nameless device and see if data is being used.
