liloffshore Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 What game are we trying to use the Netduma with? And is host filtering enabled? AW on xbox one. I am able to play just not showing people on the geofilter
liloffshore Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 ONE THING I DID NOTICED IT SHOWED MY DEFAULT LOCATION IN AUSTRALIA AND I LIVE IN THE US
liloffshore Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 IF I WOULDVE KNOWN IT WAS THIS MUCH TROUBLE I WOULDNT HAVE BOUGHT ONE
AsNCo Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Ok. The solution should be quite simple.Click Host Filtering -> Under Select Games/Services', click 'Select Games' and choose your Xbox One. Click 'Next'. Click 'Xbox live PA'. Click 'Done'. Make sure 'Show Hosts' is ticked and the word below it should show 'Disable'Under Geo-filter -> Peer Ping ☑ Auto Ping Host ☑ Kilometres ☑ Strict Mode ☑ Show Dormant Hosts ☐ Show Legend ☑. -> Click the HOUSE icon and select your area.Hope that works.
AsNCo Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I don't see peer ping Update your Netduma. http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=manual_update Follow it CAREFULLY.
AsNCo Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Still no one populating in my filter You did all the settings that I said in my first post? Are you sure it is your Xbox One selected and not your PC? Can you screenshot and post the Host filtering page so I can see the 'Select Games/Services' screen to see if you did it correctly?
liloffshore Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 I can't figure out how to screenshot on my pc. I've have been fighting this for 8 hrs and no luck. $200 down the drain? Btw..I'm going from modem to nighthawk 7000 to Netduma.
PharmDawgg Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 How To Screen Shot: Click the window you want to capture. Press Alt+Print Screen by holding down the Alt key and then pressing the Print Screen key. The Print Screen key is near the upper-right corner of your keyboard.
PharmDawgg Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Oh yeah it is better for you to go Modem>Netduma>Nighthawk. The way you have it setup now you are not utilizing all of the capabilities of the Netduma specifically congestion control capabilities.
liloffshore Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 Still nothing. Here is my day since NETDUMA plugged in..Laptop crapped out...bought a new one. Router won't put out wifi?? Xbox won't go past xbox green screen. Netduma fault??????
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted June 17, 2015 Netduma Staff Posted June 17, 2015 I posted in the other thead you made about this to make sure that you are using Chrome as your browser and not internet explorer. The Netduma is not fully compatible with internet explorer. Finally, please only make one thread per issue - otherwise it becomes very confusing when trying to help.
liloffshore Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 I will try chrome. I don't know why my Internet isn't working anymore. I put my nighthawk is AP and since then I can't connect at all.
liloffshore Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 So to clarify Do i go modem, netduma, nighthawk? Also, do I connect pc to Netduma?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 17, 2015 Administrators Posted June 17, 2015 I will try chrome. I don't know why my Internet isn't working anymore. I put my nighthawk is AP and since then I can't connect at all. Let us know how Chrome works out for you, it should be the solution. Otherwise I'd say setup it up the recommended way of Modem > Netduma > Nighthawk as Buck suggested and see if that resolves things.
liloffshore Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 Any ideas why putting my Nighthawk in AP stopped my from being able to connect to the internet?
liloffshore Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 Ok..I downloaded chrome. I can connect to the internet via modem - nighthawk but not modem-netduma - nighthawk
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 17, 2015 Administrators Posted June 17, 2015 Any ideas why putting my Nighthawk in AP stopped my from being able to connect to the internet? No not sure about that but lets see what happens after trying the below. Ok..I downloaded chrome. I can connect to the internet via modem - nighthawk but not modem-netduma - nighthawk Okay can you try doing modem - netduma and seeing if you get internet by directly connecting to the R1 with an ethernet cable to your PC without the nighthawk plugged in please.
liloffshore Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 I am connected. On my nighthawk it says default to dmz server..what ip address do i put there and where do I find it?
liloffshore Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 Another one..what is the nameless device connected to my netduma?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 17, 2015 Administrators Posted June 17, 2015 The DMZ is not needed. Have you put the nighthawk in AP now? The nameless device is a device on your network we couldn't auto detect. Look at the device manager and see which ones you do have so you can see what the nameless one could be. You could utilise the network monitor and just select the nameless device and see if data is being used.
liloffshore Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 I am connected but have a moderate Nat. Upnp is enabled on both device. I want to know what ip and mac address to put into address reservation and dmz on my nighthawk. Where do I find this info?
