This is being changed in a future update so the dashboard shows the ping to the server you are currently connected to.
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted March 6, 2018 Netduma Staff Share Posted March 6, 2018 just curious....if my dashboard shows that my ping is at 18-22 ms would i need to open my geo filter to look for a server or is it already connected? im assuming if my dashboard is showing my ping, im connected to a server right PollutionBlues is correct above - at the moment the Ping panel only displays the ping of the server / host which you originally clicked on when it is pinned to the Dashboard. I believe in the next update or two this will be changed. In the future version, when you pin the Ping panel to your Dashboard, the ping displayed there will always be the host of the game instead, meaning that it automatically updates when the host of the game changes. I hope this makes sense and answers your question, please let us know your thoughts.
justinkredible3531
okay. so use the geo filter more then i have been, i just assumed since my dashboard showed i was pinging at 19-22 thats where i was always pinging, also ive been trying to get into ufc3 and ive been using the fifa mode, in order to get more accurate latency but starting lastnight its been harder to get into matches, im in minnesota and fifa mode usually sets me at around 700miles...and i widen my filter but i am not allowed into any games until im right arounf the 2000 mark, and bu that time my ping is in the mid 80s... am i supposed to turn my xbox one x one first choose my game i want to play for example ufc3 and then open my routerlogin? im new, and im still learning

There should be no need to expand your radius that much, select the FIFA profile and it will apply our recommended settings for that - also applies to other sporting EA titles. I would recommend you have your Geo-Filter set before you turn on the console. Make sure for Anti-Bufferbloat you have it set to 'Always' and have 70% selected for both download & upload sliders. DumaOS Classified Games should be enabled in Traffic Prioritization.
