june012006
Is it possible to isolate one particular system from all LAN traffic, but still allow it to remain on the internet? I have a few days which I'm allowed to work from home each week, but I've noticed that on my home network, the computer is excruciatingly slow. While I am using a VPN, that can't be it because I have to use the same VPN at the office (connecting to a client network). I suspect that it may be traffic from one of my IoT devices. My firewall on my personal computer records a lot of blocked packets related to a few of those devices. My work laptop is wired directly to the router. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 14, 2018 Administrators Share Posted February 14, 2018 Hi june, welcome to the forum! There is no way that I know of. A workaround would be to allocate your PC more bandwidth and your IOT devices less and then turn off share excess so your PC always has lots of bandwidth no matter what.
