LSxGOAT
Went to update the firmware on my XR500 and 10 minutes later I got an error and its just stuck with the power led blinking. I think it might be corrupt. Is there an easy fix to this?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 7, 2018 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2018 Hi LSxGOAT, welcome to the forum! Don't worry we're here to help. Do you have internet access through the router and can you access the interface? What version of the firmware were you on and what firmware were you upgrading to? LSxGOAT
No access to the interface, I'm having to use a spare router right now. I was upgrading to 2.1.0.6 from the one prior.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 7, 2018 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2018 Can you download & install TeamViewer please? Then open the program & provide me with the ID & Password that it gives you (I've PM'd you so you can reply with it there). I'll get you setup ready to follow instructions that will get you back up and running.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 7, 2018 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2018 Quick question, when you were upgrading to the .6 version did you have any usb devices connected to the router or pull the power at any point? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 12, 2018 Administrators Share Posted February 12, 2018 Whitaker's issue has been fixed now. The next firmware will fix anyone getting this very rare issue. I'll close this thread now. Any more issues feel free to open another topic.
