velloonythedeity Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 NETGEAR CM600 or ARRIS SURFboard white SB6190 Modem?.
iAmMoDBoX Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 NETGEAR CM600 or ARRIS SURFboard white SB6190 Modem?. Neither.
Alex49H Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 NETGEAR CM600 or ARRIS SURFboard white SB6190 Modem?. Neither of those bro! The 6190 is broke beyond repair and the CM600 I don't know much, but whatever MoD suggests is better.
iAmMoDBoX Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 I don't know much, but whatever MoD suggests is better. Literally what my friends say now
iAmMoDBoX Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 NETGEAR CM600 or ARRIS SURFboard white SB6190 Modem?. To add to what I said above, the SB6190 uses the broken Intel chipset which literally makes you lag. So do not buy that. The CM600 uses an okay Broadcom chip, but for some reason when testing I always felt like I was slightly behind in comparison to my old modem. Which is the one I recommend, the TP-Link TC-7610 https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Download-Certified-Spectrum-TC-7610/dp/B010Q29YF8

iAmMoDBoX Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 that modem is not on charter list for modems. Sure it is, my friend is using it right now lol
fuzzy clam Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 that modem is not on charter list for modems. It's actually one of the modems that they recommend for people who want to purchase their own modem. It's what I use and I'm with Spectrum loony.

fuzzy clam Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 all dam, I already got the arris modem. I had no problems with my last one at all. no lag or nothing. It's just my opinion looney, if you didn't have any issues with the Arris then that's great.I just know that a lot of people did and still do.It's really hard to beat the TP Link TC - 7610 for the price and more importantly the functionality of it, lots of people shy away from it IMO due to it's low price, they think it's not solid because it doesn't cost 150 plus dollars. I wouldn't buy anything with the Puma Intel Chipset as it's been documented to have issues that you don't want if you're gaming, hell even if your not.If it were me I would send the Arris back and pick up the TP Link TC - 7610 on Amazon, they are really priced well and I know for a fact in my setup makes a huge difference in the spikes and stability on my Spectrum line. I'm not in anyway telling you what to do looney, we've known each other for awhile now.I still remember you hosting the lag comp testing FFA games.I'm just simply giving you my opinions on question you asked. Best of luck in what ever you decide...
