Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted June 16, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted June 16, 2015 it says that im using less than 5% of my download bandwith but i cant get any more than 5mbps on my iphone when i could get 45 previously Is this from a speed test on the iPhone or from when you are downloading something and watching the network monitor? If it is the latter it is likely that the server you are downloading from is limiting the connection so you can't download at your full speed which is why it is only showing 5Mbps. If it was a speed test that gave your results then could it be a wifi issue and when you test the devices do they have full speeds?
Zennon
You could test to see if you are on a congested wifi channel using Any of these
Administrators Netduma Iain Posted June 16, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 16, 2015 Glad its working, please make sure you have top speed settings correct as well: http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=why_is_my_speed_lower
s1rtoast
followed the instructions on that page but still having very slow speeds, getting 10 mbps wifi now as opposed to 40mbps up and down before. I used to get 150 up and 150 down wired and now i max out at 60mpbs up and down

Administrators Netduma Iain Posted June 16, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 16, 2015 Hi Elusion if you follow the instructions in the link I posted you will definitely get 120mbits wired. Maybe you need to restart the modem/router but please follow those instructions carefully. Thanks

Is there a way, i wanna give myself the biggest advantage possible I don't think that is possible. Perhaps a Google search might reveal a way but I don't know of a way to do this with the Netduma. I wouldn't recommend it though as it could be considered cheating
PharmDawgg
Forcing host is a very slippery slope -- I'll just leave it at that.

Maybe try 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.7.
