Turrell90
When I use the ultimate cod profile on blops 3 it puts my home location in the middle of the Atlantic. Once I reset my location to where I live the general gaming profile is now applied, how can I stop this? Thanks
pollutionblues
The COD Ultimate profile uses ping assist to find games as apposed to distance from your home location, that is the reason it moves your location into the ocean.

Thanks Your home location doesn't matter so much as the Ultimate profile focuses on finding games under a certain latency limit only, rather than potentially allowing you to connect to a host that's nearby but won't provide a solid experience in-game. You could simulate this manually by placing your home location in the ocean and adjusting to a ping assist value of your choice. If you have servers nearby you could get away with as low as 20ms if you like.
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted September 19, 2017 Netduma Staff Share Posted September 19, 2017 When I use the ultimate cod profile on blops 3 it puts my home location in the middle of the Atlantic. Once I reset my location to where I live the general gaming profile is now applied, how can I stop this? Thanks The advice above is great - don't worry about your home being in the ocean, it's intentional and means the Netduma is purely relying on Ping Assist to find you the best games from across the world despite distance. If you don't want the Geo-filter to function that way you can move your home location and increase the distance. If you go back to the Profiles screen and see 'General Gaming', that's a known graphics bug. Don't worry - the last selected profile is still active.
