nytemare01
Hey guys as of lately I've been continuously getting kicked from lobbies in IW. I have my filter covering the eastern us as I live in Georgia. The game searches for a lobby and as soo as I get in one I get kicked. I REFUSE to play this pos game without the filter. May have to just quit IW all together. Thanks
PharmDawgg
If you are booted it tends to mean that the game wanted to put you into a dedicated server. When this happens, look for a padlock symbol on the Geo-Filter. You should notice that it is outside your radius. This is the dedicated server that the game wanted to connect you to. It is likely the closest to you. There are a few things you can do: After setting your home location, set the distance to a small number before pressing the 'Snap' button few times. This will expand the Geo-Filter to an optimum size for getting games by detecting groups of servers.Increase the Geo-Filter distance to include the padlock so you may connect to that game. Disable strict mode; this will allow more games to be connected to. Please note that they may appear outside of your filter. Move your home until you get a different host or padlock to appear. (You may have to restart the game). Keep in mind our anti-cheat if you connect to games and continue to try and find other hosts. You may need to apply cloud settings . That will flush out the latest cloud.
kevo
Happens to me as well too bad I can't find any low ping servers the only time I've had a good ping is when I found a p2p game and all my bullets connected everytime
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted September 4, 2017 Netduma Staff Share Posted September 4, 2017 The above advice is great; I'd recommend you try out PharmDawgg's suggestions. I'm hoping they haven't allowed the IW servers to tank in the wake of CoD WW2. It wouldn't be unlike them to neglect a previous and underperforming CoD title. I would also check your NAT - could be you've got a moderate console or in-game NAT which is preventing you from getting decent games. Try enabling UPnP and only enabling the Geo when you reach the main menu screen for IW (if you have a moderate NAT).

PharmDawgg
In the R1 gui. Go the Settings>Miscellaneous. It should be about midway down the page.
