RL317
Does anyone know what the ping graph shows, if anything at all, if you are host? If I put Ghosts or any last gen CoDs on I normally see hosts with awfully unstable connections and I'm wondering what it takes to get host with a stable line and plenty of spare bandwidth. I'd like to clarify I'm not trying to force host; I'd just like to know if/when I'm actually host, because I don't think I've ever actually had host aside from two games last year in BO3, and I never had a Netduma then (instead I never had a ping bar show up on the pause menu in-game). Thanks all.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 23, 2017 Administrators Share Posted June 23, 2017 If you're the host then all the circles will be the same size, they may pulsate as well. If you are host then use peer ping to see what your ping is to each player
RL317
Thanks Fraser. I've seen all circles pulsing in between games at the pre-lobby but that's usually in recent games like IW where I'd then connect to a server anyway. I just wanted to know if a ping graph actually appears when you're host. Common sense would suggest no but I'm a donut and I don't recall seeing anything out of the ordinary
progprogprog
If your host there will be no ping graph in game The one that shows packetloss e.t.c. Also I have found out resently that black ops 3 is very dependent on bandwidth as I have been experimenting with openwrt/lede using loadbalancing I am able to find games straight away due to extra bandwidth from my 4g connection combined with my Adsl I really struggled every time before to find games due to low bandwidth 2mbps down 0.5 up I can find games every time now
