misterck
Hi guys, i got my netduma yesterday, i set it up using the guide from here and the optimisation guide Chive972 had posted but im constantly getting errors trying to connect to pvp matches and sometimes even just going to towers. Initially i was getting errors trying to even sign in to the game but that seems to have settled. Me and my partner play together both on PS4's and going into pvp matches it kicks either one or both of us out with an error very frequently. Any and all help would be appreciated. 0c36531ed3ab585d : this grey padlock appears in my geofilter radius if that could be part of the problem? Firmware: 1.03.6h Down/up Speed: 200/12 ISP: Virgin media UK Hardware setup: VM Superhub (Modem mode) - Netduma R1 Consoles: 3x PS4's (2 using geofilter and hardwired using homeplugs,1 on wifi) The 2 hardwired consoles are the ones we're trying to play destiny on and having the issues. Hey guardian You need to use those cloud settings (untick "Enable Auto Cloud" and "Bleeding Edge Cloud": 34, 31, 28. It takes 4 hours to synchronise. Thanks for the reply, thats the settings im already using and were getting constant errors, can barely get through a full pvp match without getting booted to an error code. I followed your pinned guide exactly except the port forwarding part as i have multiple PS4 systems using my connection.

XSXS
Were you getting booted with the cloud set to 30 28 28? I have been using those numbers for awhile and as soon as I updated them, started having connections issues with Destiny
misterck
Yeah, that was first set I tried from Chive972's guide, frequent booting still happening, sometimes we'll get into a match and one of us will get a connection interruption 'trying to reconnect' message followed by a black screen as if youre going to get booted but then you respawn. It's all happening far too frequently, was hoping to find a solution before trials of Osiris starts aswel

Fraser is busy working on DumaOS currently - he will hopefully be able to get a cloud update out on Monday which should resolve it. If it keeps happening in the meantime, just disable the Geo-filter at which point the Netduma will act like a standard router so that your trials are unaffected. misterck
Hey thanks for the reply, strict mode is off as per guides I've been reading so that's not the problem, I've tried all the different cloud settings that Frazer has posted so I don't think that's the problem. Is it possible that the geofilter on two consoles is conflicting? also I've noticed that when I do get in games it's connecting people from places like Italy and further even though my radius is only set to cover UK,France and Germany an ping assist is at zero. XSXS
I wonder what happened, it has been a awhile since seeing disconnects (booting) from lobbies in Destiny. I never had an issued until the other day when I updated the cloud to the new numbers. My boy plays Trials a lot and noticed yesterday he turned off the geo filter. I have two XBox one consoles with the geo filter and really have not had any issues to I updated the cloud so who knows what is going on.

It is possible for 2 consoles to give you issues. Is your NAT open? Are you using UPnP or port forwarding? Also, those people you see on the map are likely other players connecting to your host - the Geo-filter cannot block players, it is designed to get you the best host. If strict mode is off you'll be able to connect to Dedicated Servers outside the radius as well. misterck
Thanks for replying again mate, were both type 2 Nat's, I haven't done port forwarding as there's multiple PS4's using the connection but upnp is enabled.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 11, 2017 Administrators Share Posted June 11, 2017 If you're getting players outside they're connecting to the dedicated server that you're connected to but you'll have the advantage as it's closer to you therefore you'll have a much lower ping. Good thing that you've got open NAT as well.
