iRashiD Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 when i try to update bandwidth i got this Warning PPPoE was added as a convenience for our customers however you may not reach full speed using it. If you find this to be the case disable PPPoE on the R1 and enable it on the modem your ISP gave you instead.
N3CR0 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I got that too so I turned off PPPOE. Do you actually need it? I thought I did but I ended up being wrong.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 30, 2017 Administrators Posted April 30, 2017 Hello, welcome to the forum! As the message says, if you're using PPPoE you may not reach full speeds. What are your speeds? If you're under 100mbps you'll get full speed I believe.
iRashiD Posted April 30, 2017 Author Posted April 30, 2017 But did it update the bandwidth or not? i can not update it (same msg)

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 1, 2017 Administrators Posted May 1, 2017 my speed 100mbps That's fine then, just input your speeds and apply. Don't let it auto set it and manually apply these settings: Reactive Algorithm 100% anti-flood Share excess enabled Reset device prioritisation & apply Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & misc Disable deep packet in misc Enable turbo mode (only if you don't get your speed with every other setting done) Ensure the ethernet cables you're using connecting the R1 to hub & R1 to PC are Cat5e+/can handle your speeds. Do a wired speed test from a PC
