Unable to get router to work on setup

Hi,

I recently bought a Netduma R1 which arrived yesterday, I have tried setting it up as instructed on the quick start up guide provided, however I have had no luck with it working. It turns on and I have used the cable provided to connect from my router to the R1.

My setup using the R1 is:

Virgin Media Superhub 2 (not in modem mode) > Netduma R1 > Powerline (TP-Link AV600) > PC/PS4

Currently with the above setup I can access the settings page (192.168.88.1) however it is very slow and takes a significant amount of time to do so. Also I cannot load any websites. I have also tried using the netduma to another PC next to the router using:

Virgin Media Superhub 2 (not in modem mode) > Netduma R1 > PC

This setup also provides the same result as the above setup.

I have not tried anything in regards to PPPoE and have had similar problems with my Superhub in Modem mode.

I would be grateful if anyone could provide assistance.

Not much help to you but up until yesturday I had my Virgin Superhub 2, in modem mode attached to the Netduma and had no problems.

PPPOE isn't needed with cable internet as far as I know (never needed it myself)

Hey, welcome to the forum!

I'm with Virgin as well, PPPoE isn't needed. Access the interface using Google Chrome, is it any faster? Do you see a WAN IP in device manager? Reboot the router from miscellaneous settings then try accessing the internet again.

Hi Fraser,

I tried accessing the interface again this morning and I was unable to even load up the webpage. I do however remember when I tried two days ago that I was after some time able to access the device manager and I do recall seeing a WAN IP (192.168.88.2 or 192.168.0.2 I believe).

I am also to note trying to access the interface through Google Chrome and have rebooted the router a few times through the interface, both of which unfortunately have not worked.
