Hey, welcome to the forum!

As stated above if you give us more information about your physical setup e.g. Modem > Netduma (All devices) that will enable us to help you more efficiently.

On the Netduma device manager do you see a WAN IP?

Do you know if you require PPPoE authentication?

Yes.  I have the Time Warner Cable Modem and I have the ethernet cable in the first port going into the first port of my Netduma R1.  I restarted my internet completely and connected a second ethernet cable from Port 2 of the Netduma to my PC.  Also, setting up the wifi portion of the netduma to connect to the Netduma.   I get the DNS error and I restarted everything 3 times so I'm stuck on step 5. :)  Thanks for helping! I can't wait to get the netduma fully operational.  l'll be going through the guide after this post is sent:)

just a quick update, I think I identified the issue.  The modem I have has a built in router so thats where the issue is at. According to my ISP.

Ill be getting a new modem and ill update y'all :)

** Update**   It's working!  YES! lol  Im slowly learning how to navigate through the Netduma R1  Thanks!

If you'd like to purchase your own modem (saves some money on your bill per month also) the TP-Link TC-7610 is a great modem that works perfectly with the Netduma.

i actually just purchased the Arris modem only and its working great so far.  Only issue I have now is not being able to connect to the VPN service but I contacted the service and now waiting for a response.

Fantastic to hear you resolved your issue! Regarding VPN if you obtain the OpenVPN configuration files from them you should be able to use it with the VPN feature. The config may require editing. In which case I would recommend starting a new thread including the config and the provider you're with and we can help optimise it to use with the router.

If you would consider updating your Amazon review that would be much appreciated.

I dont remembre off the top of my head but the one that for 300MBPS and below   just the modem one.

I mean it says it right on it or the box lol

But pretty much any Arris modem seems to have an issue based on experience

G'day,

I am having a similar issue trying to get my netduma to work. I am in Australia and on an fftn connection through a technicolour tg-1 modem. It is running in bridge mode and will get and if I set up a pppoe connection through my laptop it is able to get a connection so it seems the tg1 is working properly. When I connect it to the netduma nothing happens. I can login through the WiFi to the ui but can not get an internet connection. Any help would be appreciated

Please start a thread of your own in the general support section with as much info about how you have things set up. Cheers

@Fraser, no problem :)  I'm very impressed! I haven't had a laggy game since I've had the Netduma up and running!

Great to hear that! As your issue has been resolved I'll close this thread. Feel free to open another for any other issues/questions you may have.

As Bagsta said please make a new thread for your issue. Though it sounds like all you need to do is input the PPPoE login details into the Netduma WAN settings and you should obtain a connection :)
