Administrators Netduma Iain Posted May 18, 2015 Administrators Posted May 18, 2015 The only thing I've seen that drops speed that much is either: You have bandwidth set incorrectly in congestion control & have anti-flood NOT set to 100% in both directions You haven't disabled IPv6 in LAN, WAN and Misc, all 3 must be done Serious wifi issue So lets focus on the two. Can you confirm that "Set Bandwidth" in congestion control page has the right values & also confirm anti-flood is set to 100% each way. Finally can you make sure in "Settings > LAN" IPv6 is disabled. In "Settings > WAN" IPv6 is disabled. Finally in "Settings > Misc" Linklocal IPv6 is disabled.
toby jugs Posted May 18, 2015 Author Posted May 18, 2015 hub aint the issue my u/l is fine through the hub without the duma connected
RADDY1993 Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 twice So you did it with a pin and held it in for 20 seconds then let it reboot and then turn of from the power for 60 seconds.
Administrators Netduma Iain Posted May 18, 2015 Administrators Posted May 18, 2015 It could also be the ethernet between the hub & the netduma.

RADDY1993 Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 It could also be the ethernet between the hub & the netduma. Could be, has he tried other cables.
RADDY1993 Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 no i turned it off for 30 seconds using the switch underneath You need to hard reset it , Go HERE and follow instructions.

toby jugs Posted May 18, 2015 Author Posted May 18, 2015 You need to hard reset it , Go HERE and follow instructions. i'd sooner not do this right now unless 100 percent necessary because my isp already had controll of the hub yesterday and said it was ok

toby jugs Posted May 18, 2015 Author Posted May 18, 2015 if the speed's ok through the hub why would a hard reset make a difference?
RADDY1993 Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 if the speed's ok through the hub why would a hard reset make a difference? It will just rule out and settings you may of altered or have on or off that could be interfering with the Duma. If afterwards its still the same then it must be the cable your using between the 2 devices.
toby jugs Posted May 18, 2015 Author Posted May 18, 2015 i tried the cables they seem fine no real noticeable difference however i disabled the wifi to check if that made a difference and now i cant get it back on , says invalid security setting radio0 is disabled
Macca65 Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I am with Virgin and supposedly have superfast broadband, as you stated I have to continually adjust the speed settings today was 30up 1down it could just be virgins traffic management. And I usually disconnect any devices on wifi and have my console wired
BENORMOUS Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 If I run a speed test though my android phone on the speedtest app I too only see my upload goin up to around the same,I don't have fibre and have 1.5 up load,I know mines allways false because if I test it through my ipad I get 1.3 upload and the same on my xbox diagnosis, ive not read all the thread so I apologise for asking this but can you feel the connection struggling when gaming?

I think the password has to be longer that 8 characters or it might be 7, not too sure. Also, although this has probably been answered (I'm just been lazy so I don't have to read the whole thread) are the speeds slow though the Virgin Hub too?
