Macca65
Can anyone advise me if there is such a thing as a DSL adapter?. I have a AsUs modem/router which has a DSL port. However my DSL line is connector is smaller than the ASUS DSL port, hence the question. I have tried looking on tinternet, but not sure if I am looking for the right thing! Anyone know if such a thing exists, as I would like to use the ASUS in place of my BT HH5 Thank you!
BIG__DOG
you need an rj11 to rj45 lead. What is the model of your asus? mine is dsl ac68u? all depends on you wall socket for your dsl, is it a mk3 which has the dsl port on the face plate or do you have to use a filter? Zennon
That is to be used with a separate modem it does not have an RJ11 socket only a RJ45 Ethernet port to go from the modem to the router. Edit : I see you have already surmised this
BIG__DOG
the port can be used as a wan port or directly connecting to a dsl modem such as the openreach modems.
