tyfeonas
Hello guys. i just change my router with another one because my provider currently haves some issues with tplink routers. my problem is i have set up another router that haves the ip 192.168.1.2 my netduma haves 192.168.1.1 when i go to my devices on the dume it says WAN IP: 192.168.1.83 but this is mistake. it must say 192.168.1.2. correct? also when i go to network monitor it dont refresh. just go to lets say .45% and stays there. no live stat. i have reset the duma to standard settings. thanks in advance
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 19, 2017 Administrators Share Posted January 19, 2017 What is the physical setup you have? No it wouldn't say 1.2 - 1.2 & 1.1 is the IP to access the interface of the router, not the actual IP of the router given to it by upstream router if that makes sense. Make sure you're using Google Chrome/Firefox, any adblockers disabled. Does the Network monitor work properly then?
tyfeonas
192.168.1.2 my provider router. connected with ethernet to duma 192,168,1,1 my pc with ethernet directly to duma and a switch to duma with other devices. i also cant acces my provider router interface on the ip 192.168.1.2 i cant see the page of the router. you say i must switch the ips? router to 1.1 and duma to 1.2? i use chrome disabe ad blocker to the page of the duma nothing.... Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 19, 2017 Administrators Share Posted January 19, 2017 I would change the R1 address back to 192.168.88.1, it doesn't sound like there is any specific need to have changed it to 1.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 19, 2017 Administrators Share Posted January 19, 2017 I'm confused, can you clarify? You say they're set to 1.1 & 1.2 but then when you set the R1 back to 88.1 the modem IP is now 88.2? That doesn't make any sense is it 1.2 or 88.2? Keep the modem IP on 1.1 or 1.2 and change the Netduma IP to 88.1.
tyfeonas
i thought that the modem must be in the same range as the duma. did not know it can be to another range. i will try it now.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 19, 2017 Administrators Share Posted January 19, 2017 Yes no need to be in the same range
