pasto171
Good afternoon, I have a problem with my netduma. The ping is raised to 985 and sometimes it tells me that there are vpn problems or fireware is blocked. Who can help me thanks.
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted January 18, 2017 Netduma Staff Share Posted January 18, 2017 Hey, welcome to the forum! So first off, go into your VPN settings and delete any entries that might be there. Are you trying to use a VPN? Make sure you're using Google Chrome or Firefox, and try disabling adblock plugins or other similar plugins. Is 985 the ping you always get? What game are you trying to play, and what settings are you using for the Geofilter? Try enabling the CoD Ultimate profile, and definitely run a Network Diagnostics test and let us know the results. (And when you run that test, find out your base ping which will be shown on that page and let us know that.)
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 19, 2017 Administrators Share Posted January 19, 2017 Hey, welcome to the forum! Please follow the above advice. Also change to the default theme if you're using the V2 theme as this can be a graphical issue caused by the V2 theme.
pasto171
Ok check everything, change v2 and I continue with the same ping rise. When I do an internet test in speedtest the ping is in 11. but when I do the internet diagnostic always says bad to ping 79. it is possible to verify if the router has problems or bad configuration. Please help thank
PharmDawgg
With speedtest it selects the closest server to your location but with the internet diagnosis it always selects google's servers (i.e. 8.8.8.8). Maybe googles serevers are not the optimal servers for you to test from.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 21, 2017 Administrators Share Posted January 21, 2017 That looks like a graphical error, I don't believe you'll be getting that high a ping. Please can you ensure all ethernet cables are firmly plugged in. Can you also try using Chrome & see if that resolves your issue. The closest dedicated server to you is in Florida so recommend your radius encompasses that location.
