omega4 Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 When saving/loading/exporting profiles, are port forwarding rules included in the profiles? I don't recall seeing an option in the Profiles Management screen that allows you to load or ignore port forwarding rules when loading a profile. Also, I couldn't see any port fowarding information when I opened up a saved profile's json file with Notepad.exe. If that's the case, is there a way to save/load/export port forwarding rules? Thanks.
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted December 25, 2016 Netduma Staff Posted December 25, 2016 Hey Omega; I don't believe there is an option for this (Though I'm out of the office at the minute, and it's Christmas, and I've never tried, so Fraser would know the answer more than me. Haha.) But it'd be a fantastic feature for DumaOS if it's not already been recommended. We've got a page for feature requests here: http://forum.netduma.com/topic/8-feature-requests/

Administrators Netduma Iain Posted December 25, 2016 Administrators Posted December 25, 2016 You can't have port forwarding in profiles as it only makes sense for your setup. If we saved it, it would port forward to your individual console and have no affect on other peoples routers.

But if the purpose of profiles was to load customized settings depending on the game we wanted to play at any given time (e.g. your premade COD Ultimate Profile), why would the ability to save port forward settings be a bad thing with respect to my individual console? For example, I was envisioning saving profiles with port forward information for my PS4 (COD) and then loading another profile with port forward information for Rainbow Six Siege (PS4) or HALO (XBox One), each with their own port forwarding requirements.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 26, 2016 Administrators Posted December 26, 2016 I've added it to the list anyway.
