I figured it would be a good idea to purchase a modem as well seeing as I am currently just using a supplied one from my ISP. Well I went on amazon and through reviews I wound up purchasing a SB6183, and it will be here saturday. Should I just leave it boxed and send it back or are they good to go now? Thanks in advance for any input.

Thanks in advance for any input. I wouldn't go with it... But they supposedly did patch the issues on the modem side. I have been using the TP-Link TC-7610 without any problems on Comcast.

Have you seen any posts within the last couple months of people experiencing any issues using this modem. Everything I seen seemed rather old, late 2015 early 2016 no posts really later than June this year with people experiencing to many problems.

Zennon Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 IW plays fine for me on xbox. Please guys in future state you are on PS4 and that "you" have an issue, we can not prove its a blanket issue on PS4.
