Guateuc
Hello I had previously had an issue which can be seen here http://forum.netduma.com/topic/19316-ps4-pro-nat-type-failed/?do=findComment&comment=132255 I updated my router, the nighthawk r7000. I have the netduma in the dmz. I have the UPnP enabled on both routers. I am getting Type 2 in the PS4 but I am getting a moderate nat in game.I do not have the geo filter enabled.Thank you
Slipknot31286sic6
Fix your issue by turning off upnp like majority of us have done. Manually port forward. Much easier. And works everytime. I'd never recommend upnp. Why buy high end routers and rely on automatic setup? Can't stress that enough. MANUALLY configure it. Will work much better and less issues. Disable upnp in misc and the upnp tab. If you need upnp that bad. Learn how it works. Set up upnp on router. Reboot. Turn off every device on network. Wait 5 mins. Turn on ps4 or Xbox and you must unplug power. And upnp should work. Till it screws up then repeat. If you only shutdown ps4 or Xbox, device still stores Info. This is why upnp usually don't detect. This is how I used to do it and it worked but port forwarding is set it and forget it.
Guateuc
The reason why i tried upnp was because for some reason port forward on the nighthawk losses some performance. i don't know why it does that. in the upnp in my nighthawk it is showing the port... Slipknot31286sic6
Why are you using the Nighthawk? How is your setup? Modem netduma Nighthawk? Only point of night hawk would be for access point. Or are you modem / night hawk / netduma? What are you trying to accomplish? I do know a few ppl on here set up netduma for geo filter only. Meaning another. Router in front of netduma. And Duma on dmz. Believe his name is ABC123.

Don't even bother with the nighthawk. You already have Duma in it's DMZ so that's fine, turn off UPNP on the nighthawk and disable any ports you have manually forwarded, the reason you'll be getting moderate NAT is because the two routers are clashing. Guateuc
the reason i have two routers is because I have a 1 gig up and down. I have everything connected to the nighthawk. For gaming i have the duma
Guateuc
It didn't work. There was something that the Duma guys did that got it to work. I just can't remember what it was. This happened before but i tried to look up the thread that had it it was no longer there

Slipknot31286sic6
If u can't DMz then manually input ip of your Duma. Probably what they did 1gig up n down? Duma technically can input 999 up n down. Still don't know why anyone would waste money on a night hawk. Over priced router.. Your money not mine. If that don't work set up 1 on 1 Monday with Fraser. Hope you figure it out.
Guateuc
I didn't buy it. it is overpriced plus troublesome.
Slipknot31286sic6
If I was you eliminate Nighthawk. Sell the pos on ebay. Take that money and go party with it or if wireless speed matters that much. Buy a uac pro router for around 130 or less. Still have money to party with. I'm sorry net gear, night hawk whatever. Wouldn't recommend to anyone ever. Ppl here who use it, use it as an over priced access point.
