Anubis1687
Hey was wondering if anybody could help me get the perfect setup for the dumas for fifa 17. Im on virgin media 220 dl 22ul and I can't seem to get non laggy fifa games. I have used the fifa profile and port forwarded all the ports. I have all excellent 0 packet loss but still get the laggy games alot. Any help would be gratefully appreciated as it maybe my set up of duma that's the problem. ColonicBoom
Do you have the Virgin Superhub in modem mode?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 5, 2016 Administrators Share Posted December 5, 2016 Hey, welcome to the forum! I would recommend trying out ~1000km radius, strict on, ping assist 0. What is the average ping to the game as shown by the duma?

Anubis1687
Hey the ping to the server if I'm right is around 40 ms.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 6, 2016 Administrators Share Posted December 6, 2016 That's a decent ping, what is your base ping as shown by speedtest when no one is using the internet or the average ping shown by the duma internet diagnostics? Anubis1687
My Base ping is between 16 and 20.ms on almost every speed test I've done. Can I ask would I need to do port forwarding for the game and xbox? As I'm new I've seen mixed advice on forum but it's pretty clearly your 1 of the really specific in the know guys so your advice would be greatly appreciated. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 6, 2016 Administrators Share Posted December 6, 2016 If you have an open NAT then there is no need to do that. If you don't then yes I would either recommend using UPnP or manually port forwarding. Considering your base ping 40ms is about right.
Anubis1687
I normally have open nat but it's changed to moderate earlier. Have direct everything but won't go back not sure why.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 7, 2016 Administrators Share Posted December 7, 2016 Make sure you have R1 in DMZ of hub or hub is in modem mode. Disable UPnP & port forwarding on hub. Disable UPnP & UPnP forwarding in miscellaneous settings on R1. Set static IP in DHCP lease Manually port forward
Anubis1687
Thanks so much it's open now. As for fifa I think it's maybe just cz I'm on virgin media and suffer on the p2p part because of it. Thanks for all the help router seems beast and I don't think I'll ever change it.
