Slow NETDUMA interface.

Recommended Posts

Everytime when go from Host Filtering to Congestion Control or Settings, Misc to Device Manager the page takes a lot to load. When i switch fom any option to another one it seems the interface lags for some reason. I have the same issue when i apply any setting on whatever section. Need help because this is really frustrating.

Things i did: Reboot the router and use another browser. Didnt help.

As stated a million times. Sorry man I assume you are using port forwarding. When doing this the router goes to a crawl and interface goes to Shit. They have no answer for us. All you can do is factory reset and it's new again...

So if i go for a factory reset and then ill port forward the interface will lag again?

t I think it may be a setting somewhere that is causing the issue. I have been portforwarding on my r1 for months with no slow down at all. So I do not believe that is the issue.

Some people who have the same issue may give you conflicting information on this but really I do not think that the port forwarding is the problem.

Can you upload some of your setting in picture form for us to look at? Misc settings etc and how you have things set up. Isp speeds etc

If you are portforwarding slipknot and gunzup are totally correct in telling you to turn off upnp as it can cause conflicts.

As I recall (I am away from my pic at the minute) there are 2 places you need to turn off upnp. One in misc settings and another somewhere

Cheers

I have same problem. If I turn upnp off my xbox turns to moderate Nat. I also had to port forward to get open Nat on iw.interface works OK until I start playing iw. Den takes ages to change pages on netduma. So I agree port forwarding is not the problem. I port forwarded on black ops an had upnp enabled an didn't have this problem. Only on iw.

U seem to be only one not having this issue. Tho there are many complaints on this. I have both misc areas disabled. Runs fine for a few weeks to a month then magically goes to a crawl and have to factory reset. All I have enabled is cookies and turbo mode. Everything disabled in misc

I have cookies enabled in misc setting not turbo as I only get 28 down and 6 up.

Seriously I do not doubt you and a few others have an issue with this but out of the amount of r1s sold compared to the amount of people with issues I really think it's more likely to be a setting issue. If it was a software issue the forum would be swamped with complaints and as I have said I do not get this issue at all.

What are your setting maybe we could suggest a few things to try. :)

I've eliminated the slow interface issue, I used to have, whilst port forwards are always enabled now.

The trick for me was to:

Disable UPNP under Settings > UPNP

Disable UPNP Forwarding under Settings > Miscellaneous

I have 4 pictures with this tweet, the last is my Settings > Miscellaneous page.
