maazsk97
So i just upgraded to Mobily Fiber optics. I have 25/5 package. In the morning i experience no packet loss and can watch twitch streams in source quality but in the evening i have noticed that i get 1-2% packet loss in CS GO,Battlefield 1 and PingPlotter but i have not noticed any issues when i play online all games run smooth. The weird thing is that when i run pingtest.net i constantly get 0% packet loss in evening too (Yes i have tested on different servers multiple times). I have also noticed that my download speeds slow down to some servers only in the evening and im unable to watch some twitch streams on high quality they buffer every 5-15 minutes. But Youtube works fine on 4k. For example: Some files i download with IDM are slow while I constantly get full speeds on PS4 downloads and steam downloads and thats what i care about. I had a 10mb STC DSL connection before this and i literally never experienced any connection issues and i used to get full speeds in the evening too with no buffer issues with twitch on source quality sure the ping was high but no issues other than that. The only reason i had to switch to Mobily was because STC's cabinet was screwed up and they were not ready to replace it and i started facing connection issues. My main concern is Twitch buffering on high settings. While my old DSL used to stream Twitch on source quality this new fiber optic connection can't and that's pathetic. Any ideas WTF is wrong with Mobily? I feel like my old DSL line was dedicated but this sh*t is shared to some extent. My overall gaming experience is better on Mobily but this is just unacceptable for a Fiber connection. What are your thoughts?

It sounds to me like you're area maybe over-subscribed, so at peak times when everyone else is streaming/downloading together it impacts your area as a whole. Check your isp to see if they use traffic shaping or any other method. The best thing to do is download Pingplotter http://www.pingplotter.com Run it for 24hrs or longer so you can see whats happening to your connection all day & night. Save it after its finished as you might have to post it here for analysis. Or setup a BQM (broadband quality meter) from http://www.thinkbroadband.com , this will show you a graph the same as mine in my signature (below) after every post I make. ColonicBoom
I'd do both of Yam Yam's suggestions, the monitor and ping plotter, so you can see what's going down in the neighbourhood
maazsk97
Pinging bbc.co.uk in evening: Pinging google.com in morning: However i don't understand why pingtest.net always shows 0% lost even in the evening and when i play online i don't notice any issues. My bullets register fine and i dominate most of the lobbies. So maybe the packet loss is to some servers only. Also i get full download speed on ps4 and steam even in the evening. Some IDM files are slow in downloads in the evening but when i download the same files in morning then they download fast.

maazsk97
Good news everyone... Today for the first time i was able to stream twitch on source quality without any buffering, got 0% packet loss on all my tests and downloads were pretty fast. All the tests were done during peak time. Maybe they did something to fix this as my internet was down a few days ago and now its back up and running everything feels better than before. Thank you for all your suggestions.
