Make sure you've got "Auto Cloud" and "Bleeding Edge" enabled in Settings -> Misc. What console are you playing on, and is your NAT open on that console? Can you connect with the Geofilter disabled? SaltyMcSalty Posted October 18, 2016 Share Posted October 18, 2016 It's not just you mate, every time I'm the home team I go 1-0 up inside 15 mins then the game turns to s***. Bad touches, no movement and bad passes as well as poor responsiveness and players unable to turn. Is it lag comp? Out of interest what is your ping? I'm currently running with a 19 ms ping on my duma. I'm also the home team 90% of the time in divisions. I'd love this game to work well. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've seen people complaining about bad Fifa multiplayer all over the Internet, suggesting it's not incorrect Netduma settings to blame. You're likely being coupled with players who have terrible connections. The Fifa profile should definitely assist though. Try doing an Internet Diagnosis, playing wired, and looking for any jitter / spikes to rule out your own connection. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I often ask my opponent how it was for them and they respond with 'fine'. The question is how can I combat it? Would changing my location help? Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted October 18, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted October 18, 2016 You could try other Geofilter settings; such as putting your home in the sea, distance to minimum, and your ping assist to 60ms with strict mode off. That way you'll always be in low-ping games, but the fact that your games seem to be low ping and you're still having issues is strange. Some recorded gameplay would help here if you could get it; that way it'd be easier to see what kind of lag it is. They are the peer pretty much all of the time and they say the game is not to bad for them. Just the occasional lag. So my question is, can I increase my ping easily? I'm not talking massive amounts I'd just like to double it. Would bouncing it round in a vpn a bit do that? I can't believe I am asking to increase my ping but I believe the netcoding is optimised for higher pings in this game. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

However, there are probably some other solutions such as are you using a wired controller? Monitor instead of a TV etc? As with pings that good that shouldn't be an issue at all.
