A7Legit
What upnp, upnp forwarding both on netduma and upnp on isp hub.....that is how i have it at the moment! All of it, BO3 is the only title I've seen create issues with UPNP running yet still not open the necessary ports, not sure if thats what caused you to ask the question in the first place but you have the most convenient/effective settings enabled already. BIG__DOG
i removed my duma from my DMZ but even with upnp enabled i was instantly put on a moderate nat. I dont like my duma being in DMZ nut looks like i have no choice! but it does run like a dream with my current settings and in DMZ.
Slipknot31286sic6
I unchecked upnp. Router went to hell, games went to Shit on bo3 and router went to sluggish mode. Took minutes to access a page. Wouldn't turn off upnp. You'll have to factory reset if u do. Tried it twice. Wont do that again lol
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 11, 2016 Administrators Share Posted October 11, 2016 In order to prevent conflicts I would turn UPnP off on the hub and turn off UPnP forwarding. UPnP forwarding attempts to open ports on the upstream router but as you have DMZ set this is unnecessary. It is perfectly safe to have the R1 in the DMZ as the R1 has a built in firewall.
