D3mon1c Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Sometimes when I set congestion control to 70/70 one or the other is still at 100 like I didn't switch it at all I don't understand why it does this I literally switch it goto geo filter & when im done play when I reset it back to 100 like i said of em is at 100 already instead of what I put it on b4
BIG__DOG Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 make sure cookies is enabled in misc setting or no changes are made otherwise
BIG__DOG Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 70/70 is just a guide and is not a 1 size fits all settings, your connection is unique to you......i suggest you watch sim's video on how to optimize your connection via bufferbloat (jitter) reduction.
D3mon1c Posted October 8, 2016 Author Posted October 8, 2016 Yeah I did watch it on that 1v1 post you replied in & 70/70 60/60 was my best ones to choose between but even if cookies is marked or not it still does this every once ina while
BIG__DOG Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 what browser are you using? i use firefox rather than chrome if i am altering settings on the duma......you could do a full reset and leave it unplugged for 5 mins. i have to do it once in a while.....couple of months or so to clear the memory.
D3mon1c Posted October 8, 2016 Author Posted October 8, 2016 I use chrome I used to use firefox but it seemed like firefox crashed so damn frequently thats why I just stuck with chrome
b00stg0d Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 I see this as well. I will move the sliders to 70 and 70 sometimes different depending on what's going on with the network traffic and i will enable my filter go into game and can tell right away something isn't setup correctly. Sure enough I will go back to congestion control and the sliders will be set to 100 on one or both upload/download. I have to reset at least once a month and let it sit and yet it still does this 3-4 times a week. I've thought about removing hyper-lane settings since there have been so many reports of hyper-lane causing issues with saving profiles but who knows. Just hoping the new OS resolves these types of 'quirks'.
