maazsk97
If you are having local network congestion then netduma's congestion control can help to stop your game from lagging and high jitter.

KayOneX-24
Hi guys Is there anything my netduma can do to improve my gaming experience in bf4 on pc? thanks Gramps Hi Gramps, welcome to the forums. I'm a Battlefield 4 player on PC too. If you like then you can add me via Origin. My name there is down below in my signature. To answer your question: Yes, you can do something to optimize your connection in BF4 on PC. Because of the server browser in BF4 with the ability to choose the nearest location to your home, the geofilter feature of your Netduma is not required for gaming in BF4. But one thing that is most important in BF4 is having a good connection without congestion and this is the moment when the congestion control feature of your Netduma comes into play. Setup your congestion control to fulfill your needs of a solid and bufferbloat-free connection. It is recommended to set in the congestion control page of your Netduma both sliders for down- and upload to 70% each one. I recommend you the site http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest. I have optimized my connection there with the following things in mind: 1.) Make sure your network is absolutely quiet and nothing bandwidth intensive like watching YouTube runs during the speedtest of the site from above. 2.) Make sure you are connection via LAN cable during the speed test. 3.) Go to the speedtest site from above (in your browser). 4.) Click on the "gear" icon on the right side of your screen. 5.) At "No. download / upload streams" type in 32 in each box. 6.) Click on "Lo-Fi" to enable it. 7.) Click on "Advanced settings". 8.) Click on "Hi-Res BufferBloat" to enable it. 9.) Click on Save. Run your speed test now and wait for the scoring. The scoring works like this: You get a score for each testing criteria: Overall, Bufferbloat, Quality and Speed. The A+ score is the best possible value while F is the worst. Take a look at Bufferbloat and its scoring... Is its score at least an A ? If so, you are good to go or you can still try to optimize it further by playing with different values in the congestion control section of your Netduma by raising or lowering your values for download/upload until you get an A+ score in the speedtest from above. Then take a look at the score of your quality... Is it at least an A ? If so, you are also here good to go or you can try to optimize your connection further by doing the same here as described above for the bufferbloat issue. To get a detailed information about what's going on, you can take a look at the button "Results + Share" when your speedtest finishes and click on it. Here you can see detailed where your connection issues lies. Hope this was a bit helpful. Don't hesitate to ask. We are a nice and polite community. Best regards, KayOneX-24.
