moffek1
OK this could be stupid question with a quick answer but im struggling to reconnect my Netduma router. Just received a new superhub 3 from virginmedia, my old one was in modem mode and i ran everything through the netduma. Now i want to run wifi through my hub and only have my netduma hardwired on the hub and only the ps4 coming from the netduma. the problem is when i try to plug the netduma into my hub it doesn't connect so i cant get my ps4 connected either. settings are - wall to hub, hub is wifi, port 1 on hub is wired to netduma port 1 and ps4 is port 2 on netduma but my ps4 is saying no LAN connection. if i bypass the netduma and hardwire the ps4 from my hub the connection is fine. im just struggling to connect my netduma or my ps4 to the netduma. am i missing something straight forward? Slipknot31286sic6
Factory reset. Make sure netduma is in dmz. I jus updated to a new modem as well for 180/25. Got a 16x4 lines modem. Was a bitch to get that netduma to talk to it. Reset it, factory reset, unplugged it all, reset modem. Finally after half hour they talked. Maybe netduma slow at talking to modem. brutus209
If you are running wifi from your hub, you cannot get the full effect of the congestion control.
BIG__DOG
ok, so you are on virginmedia, you need to put that hub into modem only mode and then just connect the netduma and it will work. i was on virgin so i know. You need to disconnect the netduma and switch it off. connect the pc via ethernet to the hub and type 192.168.100.1 or 192.168.1.1 whichever the login ip is. Go into the option where modem only mode is and enable it. then reconnect the netduma and run everything through that. IMPORTANT........the very very very first thing you do with the netduma above all else is enable cookies or any changes you make before you do that may not be saved. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 23, 2016 Administrators Share Posted September 23, 2016 You won't be able to get the benefit of congestion control with that setup as above. However, if you want to do that setup then do this: Power off both your hub and your NETDUMA. Power up the hub and after one minute, power up the NETDUMA. Then connect the PS4 and see if you're able to get a connection. Then put the R1 in the DMZ of the hub.
